Poet Ali - Performs a song he wrote for the Annual Rachel's Challenge Educational Summit

In this room there are thousands of educators from all over the United States who signed up for a 3 day conference. I was the guest performer.  This song I wrote (co-written by Kris Beach and Leo Montoya (http://www.reverbnation.com/12kp) 

I wrote these lyrics for so many of the stories I hear on the road where kids are about to lose hope, about to give up, and it was my way of telling them - although life may seem pointless at times... We must push through...

I know what you’re thinking… Enough with the: “Starbucks Mania – I gotta have my latte perfect so I can Instagram the foam heart on top, bullshit!” Relax, that’s not where I’m going… Stay with me.
